![]() If you’re looking for a new activity that’s way cooler than soccer, snowboarding, karate or scouts, check out The Scuba Rangers!
Scuba diving is a totally awesome sport. Until recently, only older kids and adults could do it. Not anymore! Now there's Scuba Rangers, a way cool scuba club for kids ages 8 to 12.
You're like an astronaut floating weightlessly in space when diving. In fact, NASA astronauts train for space shuttle missions in a huge water tank, and scuba divers are there to help them. Scuba divers also work in dive stores, at
exotic resorts, in the military, and on hundreds of jobs that require people
to go underwater.
Level 1: Red Ranger - Water safety techniques, swimming and snorkeling skills. Level 2: White Ranger - Snorkel review and first time on scuba. Level 3: Blue Ranger - More scuba skills and underwater photography. Level 4: Silver Ranger - More scuba, fun and games. Level 5: Demo Ranger - Demo Ranger is the highlight, because you proudly demonstrate your skills to parents, family and friends. The course includes Club membership for a year. You'll also receive a Scuba Rangers Kit that includes a Ranger Manual, a Ranger video, a Ranger dive log, a Ranger T shirt, a completion card and a Ranger diploma. That's not all, once you are of eligible age (10 years old); you can continue on and become Certified as a Scuba Diver. That’s right the cost of Scuba Rangers also includes scuba certification. You get $365 worth of training for free. What a great savings! The fee also includes the use of all necessary scuba gear for Scuba Rangers and the Scuba Certification. All this for a minimal cost of $375. You will need to pay $215 to start Scuba Rangers. Once you are ready for Scuba Certification you will pay the balance of $160.
